Auldearn Primary School is a non-denominational school which accepts Nursery (3 and 4 year olds) to P7 pupils of either sex, from families living in, or around, the village of Auldearn which is some two miles from the town of Nairn. This session (2009/2010) the school is operating as a six-teacher unit. There is also a nursery for 3 and 4 year old children. (A separate brochure is available for the Nursery) There are approximately one hundred and forty five pupils attending the main school and thirty five nursery children. The school is served by teachers of Music, Physical Education and ICT. We also have the expertise of a part-time Learning Support Teacher and input from the Speech Therapist, and Educational Psychological Service who are available as extra support for the class teachers as required. Our school nurse is a regular visitor. Starting School. |
